Bay Area Kids magazine
Launched in December 2008, Bay Area Kids magazine offers a fresh, yet much-needed resource for today's East Bay parents of children 1-8 years old. "A modern magazine for modern parents," Bay Area Kids offers a sophisticated lifestyle coverage of matters relevant to todays parents alongside quality product reviews, great fashions, cultural events, destinations, educational opportunities, and much more.
Today's definition of Family has changed from what it was even five years ago, especially in the culturally diverse Bay Area of Northern California. More and more, both parents - Mommy and Daddy - are taking an active role in the raising of their children, and childhood is no longer just a one-person job. Fathers as much as mothers are trying to find the balancing point between career (and sustenance) and providing the best for their children while also trying to create the time to spend with their children.
We also focus on the child's role within his or her community: whether its the immediate neighborhood, city, county, or state, and how this environment affects them on a physical, mental, and spiritual level.
